Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing, implementing, and assessing targeted recruitment activities for academic divisions, programs, and special student populations and/or experience with co-operative education, career services, and/or corporate relations.

Experience and/or familiarity with research and analysis of data and the ability to design, produce, and interpret statistical data for admission and enrollment.

Familiarity with student information systems, preferably Salesforce/TargetX, Grad Leaders and Banner.

Master’s Degree in relevant field

Job Specific Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with two to three years of progressive experience in higher education, career counseling, recruiting, and/or sales and marketing experience illustrating a progression of responsibilities. Experience working with diverse constituencies and the ability to travel for extended periods of time are required. Demonstrated background and ability to manage, motivate, promote, and collaborate with professional staff; Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability and willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours required.
Must possess a current valid unrestricted driver’s license.

Job Duties

Joint go to market integration with the on-campus admissions & co-op teams – jointly identifying co-op placement and enrollment opportunities by territory and functioning as an integral member of a sales team to bring employers, prospective students, and current students together within the Kettering educational framework – while meeting and exceeding enrollment goals.

-Advise/coach students through admissions and cooperative education life cycles; comprehensive territory coverage representing the university. Establishes relationships and represents the university on and off-campus with key constituents. Leverage CRM to provide excellent service and effective action. Utilize data to manage pipeline and make data-driven decisions.

-Assist with application reviews to include evaluating and recommending admissions decisions for final approval.

-Provides assistance with resumes, cover letters, interview skills, and job search techniques.

Market, promote, and sell Kettering’s programs to employers and prospective students by developing and maintaining co-op and full-time job opportunities. Reviews, assists, and provides counsel to employers in the development of co-op job descriptions, work plans, and employment issues. Frequent travel and joint go to market recruitment efforts.

-Development and execution of quota – a detailed understanding of corporate partner co-op hiring plans forward 12 months to facilitate joint development of applicants for admission to support employer opportunities by position and location.

-Monitors student and employer co-op experience by maintaining ongoing contact, performing reviews of co-op positions, reviewing employer and student evaluations, and conducting employer site visits.

Coordinate and develop experiential education curriculum and student learning activities including online modules, work reflections, and immersion experiences. Schedule, meet and facilitate scheduled group, and individual instructional and advising sessions.

Maintains ongoing communication and relationships with the Kettering community. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
